Registration for the 2010-2011 school year will be held at Mt. Pisgah Middle School on August 3rd. Faculty and Staff will be available to assist with your child's registration, lunch account, bus route information and much more. School supplies will be available during registration. Morning registration will be from 7:30 am until noon, while the evening registration schedule is from 4pm-7pm.

Shelby County Schools has prepared a document to assist parents with registration.

The TN PTA has announced the themes for the Reflections Program contests:

• The Reflections Program theme is "Together We Can...".
• The Citizenship Essay contest theme is "We are United Because".
• The Safety Poster theme is "Picture a World Without Bullies".
• The Safety Multi-media theme is "Bullies Tear Down...Friends Build Up".

Mt. Pisgah will announce the entry deadlines as soon as they are determined.

Each year, the PTA Reflections Program challenges students to create art inspired by a specific theme. Themes are selected from hundreds of ideas submitted by students to the PTA Reflections Program Theme Search. Past themes have included "Exploring New Beginnings," "If I Could Give the World a Gift...," "A Different Kind of Hero," and most recently, “I Can Make a Difference by…” and “Wow!” The 2010–2011 theme is “Together we can…”

The Mt Pisgah PTA will be collecting PTA membership dues during registration on August 3, 2010. The membership fee is $5 per parent. Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles can be PTA members, too! Help us acheive our goal of 100% parent participation! We encourage you to stop by the PTA Membership table for more information about volunteer oportunities available throughout the school year.
