PTA Reflections Themes Announced

The PTA Reflections Program was described by its founder, Mary Lou Anderson, as "almost too simple." That simplicity of asking children to express themselves artistically based on a common theme is the foundation of this long-standing PTA program. Students submit artwork to their local PTAs. Works are judged at the local level and the winning entries advance to the TN State PTA council. The winners at the TN State level then advance to the national levels of judging.

2010-2011 PTA Budget Approved

The budget for the 2010-2011 school year was prepared and presented for approval during the 6th Grade Orientation on August 17th and again at the 7th-8th Grade Orientation on August 19th. The budget was passed without any objections from the audience. A copy of this budget was available at those assemblies. Any parent who wishes to be provided with a copy can simply email a board member through the "contact us" page in the main menu of this website with their request.

PTA Fundraiser

The 2010 PTA Fall Fundraiser kicks-off on August 13th! Please check your child's backpack for the Fundraiser Packet! We are offering many great products this year and we are counting on YOU to help sell them! The packet includes color brochures, an order form and a page of coupons. Fill out the coupon with the number of items your child has sold and return them to school on the designated coupon days. There is a homeroom sales competition, and your child would love to win! The incentives this year are the 10 and You're In party and the limo ride to Incredible Pizza! Please make sure all forms are legible and the checks are made payable to Mt. Pisgah PTA. With your help with this fundraiser, the PTA is able to provide educational enrichment programs for the students. Volunteers are needed to help with money collection, order placement and product distribution. Please help us to help our great students at Mt. Pisgah Middle School!

Upcoming Events

Volunteers Needed!

Mt. Pisgah Middle School PTA hosts many events during the school year for parents, faculty and students. We have volunteer opportunities to fit everyone’s schedules, interests and needs. Volunteers find it rewarding to be involved in their child’s school community. Your volunteer work with the school's PTA programs will allow you to share in the experiences of your child.
